Thursday, June 23 -The event at Floyd's on Thursday night was awesome. Friends, family and aspiring musicians from all over came out to enjoy a night of music, raffles and fun. We can't say enough about the people who organized this, especially Meredith and Patti. Almost $4000 was raised in less than 4 hours between the collective efforts of everyone there. Thank you again to everyone involved.
Sunday May 22, 2005 - Sunday's wine tasting event at the Anvil Club attracted almost 120 people The weather was beautiful, allowing us to have the party out on the open air veranda. It was nice to see so many friends, family, co-workers and even several people who just read about the event in the paper and come out to enjoy the day with us. Our most sincere thank you to all of the people who organized this event for us, especially Leah, Chuck, all the Anvil Club employees who generously donated both their time AND tips and all to of the local businesses that donated items for the raffles. We sincerely appreciate your support.
May 23-25, 30-31, June 1, 6-8 - Chicagoland Jewel grocery stores are sponsoring "Shop and Share" days to benefit Joey. On the dates listed above, a percentage of your grocery bill will be donated to Joey's medical fund when the cashier is presented with the identification slip available below. Please print this ID slip and feel free to pass along extra copies to anyone else who may be able to help.
Sunday June 12, 2005 - "R" Bar in West Dundee, IL is sponsoring the "Ride for Joey" motorcycle rally followed by the "Joey Jam". Live Music performed by Universal Slim and the Blues Kangaroos, Karaoke provided by PipeDream Productions featuring Ken "Wolfman" McVey, Raffles and fun for all ages from 10:00am until 4pm. Please come make this a day Joey will never forget.
Sunday June 12, 2005 - Spa Bleu in West Dundee is sponsoring a Cut-athon to benefit Joey. From 10:00am until 4:00pm, proceeds from haircuts, manicures and 30 minute massages will go directly to Joey's medical fund. Spa Bleu is located at 106 N. Second Street, a short walk from the Joey Jam event posted above. Although walk-ins are welcome, appointments may be made ahead of time by calling 847-426-3656.
August 27, 2005 - Car Wash for Joey at 1GR8 Car Wash
Come get your car washed on Sat, August 27th at 1GR8 Car Wash in West Dundee. Forjoey volunteers will be present to vacuum and dry your car. Half of the proceeds from the automatic wash between 8am-5pm will go to Joey's medical fund. (Not including prepaid cards.) 1GR8 Car Wash is located in West Dundee on

August 27, 2005 - First tee time: 12:00 p.m. - Bonnie Dundee Golf Course
$50 per person includes golf and a steak dinner afterward at River Lee's. Dinner only: $15.00 per person. Advance purchase of dinner-only tickets at the time of registration would be appreciated.
This outing is limited to 15 foursomes. Individual golfers will be put on stand-by status until enough single golfers register to form a foursome.
